I was sick with the flu, and my 4 year old nephew called to talk to his grandma. During the conversation he asked to speak to me but was told I was sleeping because I wasnt feel well. After he got off the phone his mother stated he was very upset because he didn't talk to me. Devin told his mom he was going to pray for me and talked about how sick I was for the rest of the evening until he went to sleep. The next morning he wanted to call me but his mom said no because it was too early . He stated crying. So as soon as I knew he was home I called him. He said aunty you were sick and was worried about you, do you feel better? Of course I said yes because I didnt want him to have another restless night! ! This story means so much because ive never encountered a child with that much love and concern for another human being in all my life. Most children his age are thinking about themselves and not others.
